We have well over a hundred regular subscribers that get the episode downloaded to them through iTunes or another podcast service. Beyond that we have dozens more that listen to the show through while on the website or downloading the files. Beyond that we get a lot of traffic from people that stumble upon the website when we talk about Michael Rosenbaum, Sexting, or some other topic that interests them.

Oh, and there was one podcast where you each decided to rock out somewhere. About Israeli weddings – 900 is small. Seriously, these things spread out into the streets. They last days. And then there’s the Sheva Brachos, which are 7 more meals – traditionally on 7 seperate, consecutive days – where the newlyweds are blessed with a different blessing every time.

Man, can those get wild. And full of food. And everyone gets plastered. It’s really cool. =]

Apparently Lainie, Evan’s wife (soon to be Dustin’s wife) Lainie, has the mouth of a sailor. Swear words do sound so much harsher coming from her but I think they do coming from women in general. I do love Lainie though but I now have two people to fight for her hand and I am not a C-list celebrity…

My problem with the f-word is that it is so overused and misused that it feels like the meaning has been stripped from it and the only reason it packs any punch is because of the intent behind its usage. That intent could really be applied to any word though and the f-word would fade from our collective swear vocabulary. Jism is nasty but I am not sure it is a swear word per se; it is just a gross sounding word for something else. That being said, I voted for jism because I like to cheer for the underdog. Go jism!

FYI, the “seas” on the moon are only called “seas” because early astronomers mistook them for actual seas. They are actually large basaltic plains formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. Silly early astronomers. Therefore I think they should have accepted Evan’s answer as well.

Oh, this comment is terribly long already but Evan’s rant about not tipping sounds like Buscemi’s from Reservoir Dogs. Dustin should have gone into a “Like a Virgin” rant like Tarantino.

What do ladies love about the Prius? Answer: Everything. A Prius makes a guy look environmentally friendly, economocially wise and all-around stylish. Plus, a Prius says, more than anything else, “That guy is huge. You know, in the pants.” Everyone has told me exactly that. Huge. That’s the word they all used.

I cannot reccommend this car enough. Great mileage, excellent performance, huge in the pants.

If you want to talk about Israeli things that you know nothing about, I have to warn you about one thing: do NOT go into politics. There is no such thing as an apolitical Israeli and it would be very easy to poke some Israeli nerves – something that is never a good idea.

Some suggestions: Israeli food – how chummus can be anything from haute cuisine to cement; Israeli music and – something that you definitely know nothing about, therefore would be a perfect thing for you to talk about – the Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria. Be careful there, though.

I’ve voted for everyone at some point from different computers. You each have your qualities: Evan is droll and the conservative hypocrite; Dustin is like those little hamsters that stick their noses up in the air, always curious and very blunt; Sam can be funny when he stops texting – and you are hilarious.

Something that I haven’t heard about on the show yet, but would be interesting, is some more of the hypotheticals that you guys run off – like the serial-killer segment, the Dustinevankurtadustinstan, the selling-out segment… and my personal favorite, the Jerky Boys musical. XD

I was introduced to PIP when Gordon McAlpin was on and I have enjoyed listening ever since. I have something to request though: More discussion about anal bleaching. I think Sam was on to something with that. There really are not enough podcasts tackling the tough issues these days and I look to you guys to be the forerunners on this one very important issue.

A few more things: a) I;’m from Israel, so now you can ALSO pride yourselves on going slightly global; b) Johnny Brennan – one of the Jerky Boys – voices the pharmacist on Family Guy (a show that I never saw, I choose to watch other more mainstream stuff; I’ll probably get around to Family Guy someday); c) Sara Palin, your future mother-in-law, Dustin, led a book-censoring campaign when she was mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, so I cant’ support anything that has to do with her; and d) – Why is it that every time Evan’s wife Lainie is mentioned, you attach the “your wife” or “my wife” to her name? She’s not Coca Cola, for God’s sake, she’s a married woman that isn’t trademarked.

First off, I’ve calmed down. My uncle said i have absolutely no case (i even asked if he wanted to do anything about PTAndersonfan’s comments about the asian boy, and he just said to let it go). And I appreciate the other comments from peolpe like Shane and Toobad. (And I’m curious what the STAR WARS link was?!?!?!?!) But back to Shane. Thanks you for reminding me why i comment on message boards like this from time to time. The reason BSG jumped the shark is simple. WHERE DO THEY GO FROM HERE?!? (SPOILERS!!!) So they find earth! What if Richard Kimble had found the One-Armed Man a few episodes to go? If David banner had cured himself of the HUlk and at the beginning of INCREDIBLE HULK’S last season (and before the TV movies!) What if Q had put Picard back on trial early, or what if Sisqo had confronted the Founders early, what if Voyager had found its way to EARTH (which I believe BSG copies!) ETC. ETC. I’ve yet to watch LOST yet (waiting for the DVDs to hit the used bin), but what if they got off the island before the end? What’s going to happen in the last season? Are the Colonists and the Cylons going to sit around drinking tea? Because I can’t imagine them doing anything else differently! And that is to say nothing of how perfect it would have been to end the show right there! ROD SERLING, the genius himself, could not have come up with a better ending! Imagine how if DUNE had ended before CHILDREN OF DUNE or HERETICS OF DUNE!!! Or if ENDER’S GAME ended with the Bugger threat being vanquished—or if they never had any of ENDER IN EXILE!!!! They should just get Orson Scott Card to write the rest of BSG. I bet even Kevin J. Anderson or Peter David could write a better BSG, lol!

Understand, I sympathize. I too am undersexed and mocked for being undersexed (which always helps). I too love to get on the Internet and talk up the sci-fi fantasy. I too have diarrhea of the keyboard. I too loved me my 4H Fair-bought nun-chucks and, though I don’t have instant recall like you do, I remember most of the details of the Ninja Turtles cartoon.

I appreciate your comments on our latest episode. I wanted to respond because I think you bring up some good points. It’s true that we picked on you, but I assure you that no malice was intended. Each week we put our voices out there for the judgment of the general public. We truly resent being called Ignorant on our own comment board, but that is the right of the listener, just as it is our right to respond.

Anyway, Myron, none of us take any of this seriously, and I don’t really think you do either. I think you understand that this is a comedy show made by comedians and that our work is for enjoyment, not dissection. You can rest assured that you certainly will not be mentioned by me on any future show. It’s just no fun.

‘Poor bastard?’ I disagree. TMNT was a very important part of my childhood. I have gone back to TMNT TOS Vols 1-6 DVDs and watched them, as it reminds me of a very happy time in my carefree childhood where all I cared about was pizza and my plastic nunchucks. but as an adult i was surprised by the SOPHISTICATION of the writing, particularly the parts where they did less with Bebop and Rocksteady and more with Krang and the Technodrome in Dimension X. I have signed several online petitions to rerelease the DVDS with audio commentary from the writers and animators, to no avail. So consider me a TMNT fan. Maybe ‘I need to get laid’. But I love myself and am not “a poor bastard.’ ‘who does this guy think he is?’ I’m Myron Jones, i’m sometimes confused with a Reverend singer from Louisiana, lol. ‘Welcome to the family?’ You are not part of my family. ‘could this happen in reality?’ Well now that we’re back to the TMNT, it depends on which origin we’re referring to. if we’re talking about the movie’s origin where Splinter was an intelligent rat who was taught ninjitsu by his master BEFORE he’d gotten any mutation (and slashed The Shredder!) but then later ran into four turtles and the mutagen canister, then yes. Highly unrealistic. but if we’re talking TOS origin, then it could happen. I have read SCIENTICIFIC FACT that says we will one day be able to put the brain of a human into another animal. and that we can mutate their DNA to be more humanoid. maybe not today. maybe not tomorrow. But soon! re: the turtles and their teenage hormones. There’s actually some very good slash fan fic out there involving the tutles and April O’Neill, lol. (I am kidding, I don’t read those filthy things!) ‘what are the social rramifications of teenagers having weapons?’ I do not believe this to be a problem, as they were well trained by their sensei. I would not tell teenagers to go out and fight crime, but this is a fictional universe gentlemen. Get a life. ‘I love you Myron” The feeling is NOT mutual. ‘There’s repsect for the Jerky Boys?’ Yes google it, I’m sure you guys are good at that, LOL. ‘I’M the most popular part of your show’? I owe you big time. You’re the best thing to happen to our show since Dustin’s accents. I genuinely appreciate that you have caught on to the theme of the show, namely that none of the three of us are experts on anything, but we all love to speak with authority on everything. We don’t really care much for ‘Research’ or ‘Deliberation.’ We simply voice whatever falls off of our brains and into our mouths.

You’re clearly a sharp guy and we welcome criticism. I hope that you enjoy episode 11 when it is posted (likely today or tomorrow) as you are featured prominently.
